ProPlanet appoints Wayne Jarvis as a Business Developer for the UK market. In this new role, he will advise Distributors, Suppliers and Manufactures in the Electrical industry to improve their Product Information management and boost their e-commerce.
There is now more than ever a focus on digital transformation. The founders of ProPlanet are co-founders of the ETIM article classification that started in the Netherlands. This data model is now used by more than 20 countries, including the United Kingdom. In recent years, ProPlanet has entered into partnerships with the Electrical Distributors Association (EDA) and the Trimble Group (known from the LUCKINSlive platform). These organizations offer data pools to simplify the exchange of product information between manufacturers and wholesalers.
To support producers, wholesalers and installers even better with the adoption of the ETIM classification model and the use of data pools, ProPlanet has appointed Wayne Jarvis as a Business Developer for the UK market. Wayne Jarvis will build relationships with UK distributors, suppliers and manufactures in the electrical industry. This way he will help them to improve their Product Information Management and boost their e-commerce.
